Aesthetics and Harmony in the “YIT” Project “Matau Kauną”

We are delighted to contribute to yet another ambitious and sustainable residential quarter developed by “YIT Lietuva” – “Matau Kauną”. Situated on Aleksotas Hill, this development seamlessly blends contemporary urban architecture and surrounding nature with well-thought-out hardscaping solutions, creating a cozy and modern environment for its new residents.

To ensure an exceptional exterior character and the highest standards of comfort, a combination of “Barons” series pavers in a single format and color, but with different surface finishes, was utilized:

Barons 240 (Brown): Adds warmth and a natural feel to the space, harmoniously blending into the quarter’s green environment and perfectly complementing the modern building facades.

Barons 240 (Brown Abrasive): These rough-textured pavers continue the seamless earthy aesthetic while serving a crucial practical function—ensuring maximum slip resistance and pedestrian safety in all weather conditions.

This combination of different textures (smooth and abrasive surfaces) allowed for the creation of a subtle and aesthetically cohesive paving pattern without sacrificing beauty or functionality. High durability, safety, and longevity are qualities that are inseparable from the sustainable and comfortable urban spaces developed by “YIT”.
